OUR STORY
Founded in the late 1960s, the Deer Stalkers club exists to support and foster the community of deer hunters. We welcome men and women of all levels of hunting experience, who are interested in stalking deer ethically, harvesting meat for themselves, their family and friends, and enjoying our pristine bushland.
We pursue deer "by fair chase", according to our code of ethics, which emphasise restraint, safety, humane treatment of animals, and conservation of our natural environment.
Club members have the use of the club's hunting lodge, access to annual hunter training every year, as well a numerous events throughout the year, including organised hunts.
The club meets on the third Wednesday of most months of the year (January being the exception), at 7:30pm at the SSAA shooting range in Springvale.
